The Library's home page optimized for viewing on mobile devices and with links to mobile resources.
A Point of Care reference application. The full DynaMed database can be downloaded to your PDA. Before downloading you will need a DynaMed serial #. You can get your serial # directly from DynaMed by following the directions on this page. If you need assistance with this, contact any of the librarians listed in the "Contact with Questions" box. They can also provide a serial number.
DynaMed Weekly Update. DynaMed editors monitor a large volume of research information on a daily basis and frequently find articles that are of significant and timely interest to health care providers; each issue includes articles “most likely to change clinical practice”. Podcasts of the DynaMed Weekly Update can be sent to your PDA device.
Go to the PDA Support link on the DynaMed page for specific downloading for any of the following devices: Android, Blackberry, iPhone/iPod, Palm classic/pre, or Pocket PC.
Point of Care reference application. Available via MDConsult Mobile. You must create a personal account in MDConsult prior to connecting with your mobile device.
MDConsult Mobile works with iPhone/iTouch, Blackberry, Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile. If the supplied browser doesn't work, try using Opera Mini.
First Consult is available using the Library's web page link as usual. There is not a special mobile application for First Consult. If you have been using MDConsult Mobile, you might need to go into your browser settings to delete the MDConsult Mobile cookie in order to access the normal MDConsult/First Consult web page.
Drug and disease information available for download to a PDA. An upgrade to Epocrates Essentials is available to medical students on an annual basis. Contact any of the librarians listed in the "Contact with Questions" box for annual enrollment information.
Drug information including interactions, alternative products, and toxicology. Disease information is also available.The PDA product is Clinical Xpert. Clinical Xpert is available to all UND health science and nursing students. The user name and password you need is available if you are logged in on the library web site. Go to the Clinical Xpert link on the library web site and select the blue "i" icon to view the username and password.
Clinical Xpert software can be downloaded to a Palm OS or Windows Mobile device. For other devices including the iPhone/iTouch, there is Micromedex 2.0 Mobile web page available. Opera Mini or Mobile Safari are the recommended browsers.
Create a personal account using the My PsychiatryOnline link. Connect to PsychiatryOnline via the Library's web page on your mobile device for access.
Connect using the EBSCOhost Mobile link on the Library's web site. Search for EBSCOhost Mobile using the Search Resources box and then select the database you want to search.
Go to VisualDx on the Library's web page and click on the Get VisualDX Free for Your iPhone link. Create an account and VisualDx will email you a login name and password. The VisualDx application can be downloaded from the App Store.
Connect using the EBSCOhost Mobile link on the Library's web site. Search for EBSCOhost Mobile using the Search Resources box and then select the database you want to search.
Use your RefWorks account from your web-enabled device. You need to know the UND group code. You can find that on the Library's web site by searching for RefWorks in the Search Resources box.

NetNewsWire - read your Google Reader RSS feeds. Also works wih FeedDemon. Can send items to InstaPaper to read later or post to Twitter. Premium version also available.
InstaPaper - save web pages for later offline reading.
CalenGoo - sync your Google calendar and have more options than Apple's iCal. $6.99
Stanza - read books on your device. Purchase new books or download free classics. Works with Mobipocket books.
Errands (ToDo List) - create folders, checklists, scheduling and repeating, etc. Add due dates.
Bump - quickly exchange contact information with another iPod user by bumping your devices together. Can also share photos and become Facebook friends.
CardStar - keeps track of your loyalty, reward and club membership cards. Creates a barcode for your number so you can scan from your iPod rather than your card.
